Africa is beginning to break the chains holding back free movement. 'No visa fees, no long forms, no wait." Visa-Free Entry Is the New Normal.
Several African nations, including Ghana, Rwanda, Benin, The Gambia, Seychelles, and now Kenya, are offering visa-free travel for all Africans.
Kenya confirmed it will scrap Electronic Travel Authorization (ETA) requirements for nearly all African visitors (except Somalia and Libya) by early 2025, allowing stays up to two months and six months for East African Community nationals.
Rwanda announced at the World Travel and Tourism Council Summit that it will allow visa-free access to all Africans.
Ghana has opened its borders to all African passport holders effective January 2025. This move aligns with Agenda 2063 and the AfCFTA, embracing continental unity and boosting tourism and trade across the region.
Benin, The Gambia, and Seychelles have all offered visa-free access to African nationals for years, setting the early path toward continental openness.

This Means Simplicity, Freedom, Opportunity, and Development.
Easy Entry
No fees, no long applications.
More Mobility
Whether it’s for business, visiting family, or exploring heritage, you can now move across public destinations with ease.
Unity in Movement
This is more than tourism, this is about breaking down borders and rebuilding emotional and cultural ties.
Economic Potential
The World Economic Forum suggests visa-free travel across Africa could unlock hundreds of billions in economic value, generating jobs, boosting tourism and integrating markets under AfCFTA.
Despite sharing languages, cultures, and borders, many Africans face greater travel barriers within the continent than outsiders. Visa restrictions and bureaucracy have long dampened commerce, tourism, and the vibrant exchange of ideas.
When Ghana, Kenya, Rwanda, and others remove these barriers, they are not just making a gesture, they’re choosing continental unity, economic solidarity, and open exchange.
