We drive DNA, genetic education and wellness services to Undeserved communities
At African Ancestry Link (AAL), we believe that access, awareness, and education are essential for empowering families and transforming communities. DNA on Wheels, our Mobile DNA Clinic Initiative, brings ancestry, health, and wellness education directly to the people who need it most, right in their own communities.
More than a mobile service, DNA on Wheels is a moving hub of knowledge, bridging science, culture, and identity in a way that is accessible, culturally grounded, and community-focused.
Each DNA on Wheels clinic provides:
-
Free DNA sample collection (ancestry & genetic-health insights)
-
Health screenings (including blood pressure, diabetes, cancer risks, and sickle cell disease, among others)
-
Nutrition, fitness, & wellness guidance
-
Telehealth support for medical and counseling needs
-
Oral history & storytelling sessions to preserve identity and heritage
-
Community genetic education workshops that explain DNA, hereditary diseases, and preventive care in simple, relatable language
By bringing DNA testing and genetic education directly to communities through our Mobile DNA Clinic, AAL bridges historical gaps, promotes preventative care, and strengthens the identity of Africans and people of African descent worldwide.

Why Mobile DNA Clinics Matter
In many African communities, access to DNA testing is nonexistent. The elderly, rural populations, and underserved groups are often left behind, with no tools to uncover their roots or protect their health.
Our mobile clinics change that
We bring free DNA testing, health education, and ancestry discovery directly to villages, markets, schools, and churches, reaching those who can’t attend centralized events.
For elders especially, this means a chance to:
-
Reconnect with lost family ties
-
Learn what hereditary risks may run through their lineage
-
Empower younger generations with knowledge that can prevent illness and save lives
We don’t just collect DNA. We restore identity, promote wellness, pass on wisdom, and preserve healing.
